Bite Me!!!

Ughhhh..... My gums have been killing me because I think I have some bottom teeth coming through... I wish it wouldn't hurt so much... It makes me really cranky...

Welcome to Miami!! Buenvenidos a Miami!!

We decided to pack up the 'rents and head down to South Beach for the weekend! Our Aunt Rebecca was running the ING Marathon and we wanted to go and show her our love and support since it was her first one! Uncle Jake made us some really cool shirts that said "Team Becca" that we could wear throughout the race. She finished the race in under five hours and we are so proud of her! We didn't have time to check out too many of our mum's old stomping grounds, as I guess the trip down now takes longer that we are around (so mum and dad say - we left at 10:30am and got down there about 4pm.). We did manage to hit Gordon Biersch on Brickell and the Van Dyke Cafe on Lincoln Road before heading home. We actually had to head home early because ELI wouldn't go to sleep on Saturday night so mum and dad made us go home a day early. He ALWAYS ruins things with his tantrums, it makes me SO MAD sometimes!! Regardless we had a really nice day and were so glad we got to spend some time with Jake and Becca.

So... I got up at 7:30am this morning after going to sleep at 8pm. So I have been asleep for roughly 11 1/2 hours. I have no idea why mum and dad keep on kissing me and hugging me this morning but I like it. Maybe I'll try this whole sleeping through the night thing again.... -Beckett

Nightime Bliss.....

So we are proud to announce we have made some significant headway with our sleeping. For two nights now, I (Eli) have gone without a bottle in the night. Beckett steadily behind me with one night under his belt. Mum caved and fed him at 5am two nights ago as he was sick all day and threw up most of his bottles. On top of that, we have both been sleeping better too. Mum and Dad have been trying to put us to bed earlier where we eat by 6pm and have our bottles at 7pm. This is what they shoot for but we tend to fall a little bit behind and are falling a sleep on our bottles which is a HUGE no-no. I slept until 4:45am this morning, I only got up because I blew through my diaper. Hee hee hee you should have seen Dad's face after that one! I managed to go back to bed and ended up sleeping until 8:15am! Mum and Dad were super happy. Beckett didn't fare as well but he is getting there.

One month until pitchers report to camp!!

We are so unbelievably excited for Red Sox season to start!! Only one month to go before pitchers report to camp and that got us totally in the mood to try on some of our Sox gear. Our first Spring training game is going to be Sat. March 5th in Sarasota against Baltimore. We are going to the game with Aunt Shelaine and Aunt Melissa. We are a bit bummed because it is a split squad but hope we get to see some of our favorite players. And if we know our mum, Aunt Shelaine and Aunt Melissa, they may try to use us as leverage for a photo op with some players! We wouldn't mind in the least! Our mum gets to go to the Sox/Yankees game with them the night before as well for Melissa's birthday and she is really excited about that. A special shout out to all the friends and family that gave us sox gear. We definitely have our fare share of bibs, onesies, sweatshirts and tees. However, we are growing by leaps and bounds so mum needs to keep her eye on the sales at mlb.com and Modells!

Dad's had it...

Dad laid in to me last night, telling me no more tomfoolery about getting up in the middle of the night... I keep using my cold as an excuse to get up at like 2am and get a little bottle fix.. Not alot, just two ounces... but I think mum and dad are catching on and are just going to start letting me cry it out.... But I just have to flash my mum a smile like the below and she'll usually cave and come and pick me up..... - Beckett

Fun with Palmer!!

We got together with our friend Palmer last night. We haven't seen him in forever! He has gotten so tall! We had lots of fun playing with his toys and Eli even went for a ride on his swing. He is less than two months older than us so we are going to have many fun playdates together! Our mum wants us to take a lesson from Palmer's sleeping habits as he tends to sleep through the night. We still like to get up and have a nightcap around 2am/3am. What can we say? We love to drive our mum and dad crazy!!

Washinski girls in the house!!!

We were so excited to to such two cute girls over this weekend! Olivia and Lexi Washinski came over to play on Saturday night! We had a ton of fun with them, we made our own pizza for dinner (although we ended up just eating rice cereal and peas - blah!) and then we went outside and made Smores over the fire pit. It was our visit time around the pit outside of mummy's tummy (we spent many a night around the pit when we were inside it!). We brought our bumbos out and had fun watching Olivia make smores and we can't wait until we are old enough to make them (and eat them!)
